    How to use it

Enter the pixel size you want in Max width and height. You can fill in just one; with both, the image is scaled to fit inside that box. Images already smaller are left as they are, never enlarged. The format stays the same, and you can choose another format above to convert at the same time.

    Keeping quality

Shrinking an image a lot in one step can break up thin lines. This page reduces it in halving steps so the result looks smooth. Enlarging a downsized image makes it blurry, so keep your originals.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I make it exactly 1000×1000 by changing the ratio?

Resizing keeps the ratio. To make a square, use rotate and crop with 1:1, then set the size.

    Can I enlarge images?

Enlarging blurs images, so it isn't done. For SVGs, choose PNG and a higher resolution to get a large, sharp image.

Does the file size go down too?

Yes. Fewer pixels mean a much smaller file. To go further, use compress images.
