    Why convert to PDF

SVG opens well in web browsers, but when you are sending documents, PDF is far more familiar. A PDF looks the same on computers, phones and printers, and as a vector it stays sharp when zoomed. It is a good choice for sending logo drafts to clients or printing diagrams and drawings.

Merging several SVGs into one PDF

Add several files and choose PDF, and the Merge into one PDF option appears. When it is on, each file becomes a page in list order, and the ↑ button changes the order. Press Save as one PDF at the bottom to save the combined file.

    Page size

    • Same as image: the SVG size becomes the page size (1 px = 1 pt). Best for files you will place in other apps.
    • Fit to A4: centered on an A4 page with a 1 cm margin. Wide images switch to landscape A4. Best for documents you will print right away.

    Good to know

This uses the same engine as the EPS converter, so the same limits apply to text, gradients, transparency and clipping masks. Convert text to outlines first.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the drawing inside the PDF?

Yes. It is saved as vectors, so you can open the PDF in an app like Illustrator and select and edit each shape.

Can I include PNG or JPG files?

Yes. You can mix SVGs and images and merge them into one PDF. Each image becomes a page.

    Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit, but merging dozens of very large images may run out of browser memory.
